日本會(huì)津大學(xué)趙強(qiáng)福教授應(yīng)邀來(lái)北理工信息學(xué)院進(jìn)行訪(fǎng)問(wèn)交流

　　應(yīng)信息與電子學(xué)院邀請(qǐng)，日本會(huì)津大學(xué)趙強(qiáng)福(Qiangfu Zhao)教授于2011年12月23日下午在北京理工大學(xué)4號(hào)教學(xué)樓244室開(kāi)展了“21世紀(jì)學(xué)科前沿”學(xué)術(shù)交流活動(dòng)，作了題為“Awareness computing: What can we get by reinventing the wheel”的學(xué)術(shù)報(bào)告。報(bào)告會(huì)由劉志文教授主持，信息與電子學(xué)院50多位教師和學(xué)生參加了此次報(bào)告會(huì)。

　　報(bào)告中，趙強(qiáng)福教授首先介紹了察知計(jì)算（Awareness Computing）的概念、原理及潛在應(yīng)用，然后介紹了他所在的日本會(huì)津大學(xué)和IEEE Systems, Man and Cybernetics （SMC） Society在這方面所做的最新研究工作。最后，趙強(qiáng)福教授與信息與電子學(xué)院的老師和同學(xué)們就報(bào)告內(nèi)容進(jìn)行了熱烈的交流和討論。

　　此次交流使廣大師生開(kāi)闊了視野，受益匪淺，并對(duì)今后人工智能領(lǐng)域的研究提供了很大幫助。

　　Biography: Dr. Qiangfu Zhao is a full professor at the University of Aizu, the head of System Intelligence Laboratory; director of the Information Systems and Technology Center; associate editor of IEEE Transactions on SMC-B; associate editor of the International Journal of Machine Learning and Cybernetics; and associate editor of the International Journal of Swarm Intelligence and Evolutionary Computation. He is the founding co-chair of the Technical Committee on Awareness Computing in IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Society and the Task Force on Aware Computing in IEEE Computational Intelligence Society. He has organized or co-organized several workshops/symposiums/conferences, including the 19th Symposium on Intelligent Systems (FAN2009); the 2009 International Workshop on Aware Computing (IWAC2009); the 2010 International Symposium on Aware Computing (ISAC2010); and the 2011 IEEE International Conference on Awareness Science and Technology (iCAST2011). He has published more than 140 referred journal and international conference papers related to optimal linear system design, neuro-computing, evolutionary computing, awareness computing, and machine learning.
